Biografia

Pittrice britannica, tra il 1821 e il 1851 espone a Londra in diverse sedi: la Royal Academy, la British Institution e la Society of British Artists. Nei suoi dipinti compaiono piccole figure (pittura di genere) e forse esegue anche miniature.

Il suo nome da nubile (“Miss Jane Adams”) compare associato a diversi indirizzi, il primo dei quali (1821) è indicato come “Kennington”.

Nel 1831 presenta un soggetto legato a Billericay: secondo Myrone (2017) il nome del piccolo centro inglese dell’Essex potrebbe collegarla a George Adams, padre di Caroline, Charlotte e Lucy Adams. Per Grant (1970) potrebbe essere sorella di Caroline, Charlotte e di Miss E. Adams.
