As part of the Life Climax Po project, which brings together 25 institutional and scientific partners (including Città Metropolitana di Bologna) in the search for innovative climate change adaptation measures, the first edition of the Po River Blue Fest, a festival designed to stimulate co-creation and networking, fostering transdisciplinary dialogue and reflection on the climate crisis through innovative tools and creative languages, kicks off on May 16 and 17, 2025.

The Po River Blue Fest was born from the collaboration between the scientific coordination of the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna and the Metropolitan City of Bologna, with the support of the Emilia-Romagna Region and Legambiente. This first edition aims to be a meeting point between numerous actors of the Emilia-Romagna cultural and creative scene: institutions, researchers, citizens and professionals of the sector. The overall goal is to inform the public, share ideas and best practices, raise community awareness and promote responsible choices through collective curation practices. Alongside scientific content and academic reflections, the festival will also offer playful and interactive activities to engage a diverse audience and stimulate active participation, in synergy with the cultural events that will simultaneously characterize the festival venues.
