On Wednesday, June 18, an online webinar on sustainable event management with a focus on waste management was held. The event was organized by the Metropolitan City of Bologna as part of the European INTERREG Europe MINEV project – Waste Minimization in Large Events.

The main goal of the event was to share best practices for reducing and managing waste produced during large-scale events, a key topic for promoting greater environmental awareness within the metropolitan area.

The webinar targeted local stakeholders, providing an opportunity for open discussion and exchange on concrete strategies to organize low-impact events. Special attention was given to the Bologna Estate 2025 event, with solutions discussed to improve the sustainability of its activities.

Participants had the chance to ask questions and delve into practical aspects of waste management, encouraging the sharing of experiences and knowledge among attendees.
