Cool Noons: the Metropolitan City of Bologna shares its experience in Villasimius

The Metropolitan City of Bologna was invited to join the Pilot Destinations Exchange Meeting of the European project NaTour4CChange, held in Villasimius on 16 April.

The meeting brought together several European projects working on climate adaptation and sustainable tourism across the Mediterranean. As part of the exchange, the Metropolitan City presented the work carried out through Cool Noons, sharing the solutions identified and implemented to make urban spaces more comfortable during the hottest hours of the day.

The presentation highlighted the experience developed in the Imola area and the steps taken to address the impacts of climate change through practical measures designed for both residents and visitors.

Taking part in the meeting helped strengthen dialogue with other European partners and encouraged the exchange of approaches and tools to support climate adaptation in urban areas, while also contributing to a more sustainable tourism offer focused on people’s wellbeing
